Old Point Trust and Financial Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Old Point Financial Corporation, which also owns Old Point National Bank. Trust
powers were granted to Old Point National Bank in 1926. Old Point Trust was
chartered on April 1, 1999 as a separate trust company.
Old Point Trust and Financial Services currently manages over $340
million of client assets and is the largest trust company headquartered in
Hampton Roads offering local, community based management of our clients’
assets. Our clients include individuals, personal trusts, IRA’s, employee
benefit plans, and foundations & endowments.
Old Point Trust and Financial Services offers a full line of services
including, but not limited to: investment research, asset management,
performance analysis, estate and trust administration, estate and retirement
strategy planning. We provide employee benefit services, including
recordkeeping, plan administration and employee allocations. Old Point Trust
and Financial Services is capable of coordinating legal, accounting,
investment, insurance and other professional needs on a continuous and
consistent basis. Our professional staff carries a number of advanced
